It had cool 3D graphics, with some cool sound. It was pretty cool that you could express your self so openly, I commend you for that. Nice job with this movie

Phenomenal
This is one of the finest pieces of expressive and personal animation I have ever seen!
First, I applaud you for having the courage to express yourself so strongly and so freely. It takes a lot of courage to be yourself in such a conforming society. If half of the world had such strength in their convictions and values, than the world would be a much better place.
Second, the creativity of the sequence, music, and total flow of the animation is truly exceptional. It reminded me slightly of something in the movie "The Prince of Egypt..." Dark, powerful and inspiring. Yet, the piece has a modern edge and is dynamic.
Third, it would be nice if all people could review things not based on their own biases. Unfortunately, there are a few who cant. To fight these few who are biased against Christianity or any type of relion. I offer you this...Friend, this piece of animation not only demonstrates your devotion and focus on the Lord, but reminds us of the power of the Lord. Truly inspirational.
The only thing I would change is that the ending should not say "The Musical." Perhaps it could be a message to remind us of how truly awesome God is, despite his many names and dimensions.

Thank you so much sweetie! This was actually part of my portfolio for graduation. I wanted to do a personal piece for my love for Christ. Something for my own personal "sublimination".
Yeah, I definitely agree that we are living in a "cookie-cut" society. It does take a tremendous amount of self-effacing beliefs in yourself to share something so personal. This piece was a little challenging trying to figure out the best way to fit all the different titles and names of Jesus in the shape of a cross as well as animate it. This was a very fun piece to create, though.
I did have in mind that people were either going to bash this piece to pieces or love it more than enough because it showed my own personal beliefs. I just put "THE MUSICAL" at the end so that I could advertise it in some way because it was supposed to be a promotion for some fictitious advertisement. Thank you so much for your inspiration to keep living in Christ.

Pixelated graphics? Ok, that's fair enough. Any movie below 5Mb will be pixelated, but couldn't you just make the video smaller in resolution? Wouldn't that give it better clarity, keeping the quality of the picture an adequate one? Some of the words on the cross were just unreadable, and that's a shame, because I really tried to read them and, perhaps, understand the message (if there is one). I'd like to see the full quality/size video, as I like artistic clips. Please, do provide a link to it, if you have one.
Sound is not very clear. I think it could have been done better, as well. The choice of the song is a good one. At least I liked it.
It's a nice movie over all, it just has flaws, probably due to the file size limitations.
As we are on the subject of religion, I have a question to ask which I am wondering about for a long time: If God is so damn almighty, why doesn't he get rid of Lucifer (The Devil) at the snap of the finger?
Here is another thing I thought about: If you sin, God will send you to Hades; you, then, will experience pain and anguish in a "comfort" of blazing fires for eternity till your soul goes insane...but he loves you.
In effect, that is what the Bible says.
Also, did you know that Lucifer comes from Latin and it, basically, means: Light Bringer, or Bringing light.
Want another one? Ok, here is one more: If The Devil punishes all those people who are Bad (The Sinners), doesn't that make him Good?
All these kind of contradictions and lies within the Holy Bible made me disbelieve this whole fear driven masquerade. Yes, I am an Atheist.
I still liked the movie, though. Please do post the higher quality one somewhere.

I’m glad you are one of the few viewers who actually understood and accepted the fact that any video that is somehow implemented into Flash is going to have a very large file size with low quality. And because NG won’t except anything over 5 MB, the compression is mandatory to make it a smaller file size, while making the true eminence of the animation to diminish greatly. Thank you so much for giving credit on that and not trying to take credit away from that profoundly over-looked fact. And to answer the question about making the resolution smaller, if I made it any smaller, that would defeat the whole purpose because the text would be so unreadable. The text is what made this piece so strong in concept. The only “message” that was in the cross was just the different titles and names of J.C.
Well, unfortunately, I do not have this piece linked to any other site or alternate source, but this guy who goes by the name “ForeverJason” e-mailed me wanting to know if I’d let him post some of my motion graphics animations on 4 different sites…www.theflasharchive.com, www.theflashgames.com, www.youfunny.com and www.2flashgames.com. Of course, he said that he would give me proper credit. So, when I respond back to him to see if he is reasonable about this, then I might post this one on either of those sites.
That makes me happy to know that there are still people who enjoy artistic animations. As far as the sound is concerned, it definitely isn’t as clear as the original version, which included a fully clear audio mp3 file. But, I ran into problems not only with file size, but the music would lose sync with the animation, making it look and sound delayed in timing.
I'll e-mail you what I know about the Christian religion since this isn't really the place to discuss it, nor is there enough bandwidth on Newgrounds for character space to type all of what I need to say. I am a christian, so I do like the idea....but you need more to it! The graphics and everything were nice, but you didn't have much there. When submitting something, submit something with some kind of...plot..

Well, you are right about submitting animations through the portal with some type of plot, but I only submit these kinds of animations in hopes of bringing fresh new ideas to viewers to take a break from the stick-figure violence, the sarcastic clock animations, and the overly used and abused sprite animations.
Since this was done for my portfolio class in college, I was constrained for the length in time to being no longer than 1 minute, which, in turn made it very complicated to fit anything else within the short animation. So, hopefully, you understand why this animation is so different from every other one.

Yeah, unfortunately there are people like you who can’t enjoy the simple things in life like artistic animations. Thank you for the complements on the graphics, but you really expect too much if you can’t enjoy a simple promotional teaser on a fictitious musical.
