Hello:

Greetings from Spain and continues to do these things that is very well done

As we say in spain ... you're a Crack! (It is an expression that much to say here)

Sorry for my English is bad enough ...

DarKsidE555 responds:

No problem. English isn't my mother language as well. ;)

Glad you enjoyed the song and I hope your friends will do the same!

Greetings from good ol germany! \m/

SCHWIBBIES!

this is amazing! it really captures the mood that one is put in when zero show's up to save the day. It inspires me to play through every megaman game every created (the good ones anyway :P). KEEP DOING WHAT YOU DO, PLEASE!

DarKsidE555 responds:

Only the good ones I would say. Because not every game is a gem. There are a couple of frustating ones out there...like MM soccer for example.

I keep doing what I doing, k! >:U

Thanks for checking man! :)

DarKsidE555 responds:

Wanna make a bet on it? $1000 I say you loose! ;)

Guitar, Bass, Drums. All played or programmed out by none other than me! :)

Why did it take e-drama to find this?

Much better than I was expecting from what I initially saw.

I've never been much of one for the Zero themes in long doses- X1's has no meat, X2's is epic but brief, and X3's is a bit more solid, if still too repetitive. That's probably why it seems like anyone remixing one sticks to the X4 + themes, given they're a lot easier to drone away with some generic electronica garbage. Or, as that one lad from OCRemix did, combine the SNES three, which still manages to get boring after you exhaust the three main melodies.

So yes, imagine my surprise after hearing this initially as a short loop of dubious origin!

A theme that always seems to play when you're watching someone kick ass or getting yours kicked deserves an epic treatment, and you've certainly done her justice. Drums sound a little flat, then again, coming out of an attempt at hip-hop I might just be adjusting still. Guitar, stylistically, is damn good. This is probably something everyone else has known already, then again, this is the first time I've heard of you, so I wasn't expecting anything at this level. Sounds extremely clean, too, which is not something I anticipate by default.
What's really impressive is that you manage to keep it from getting stale. Not having really any sub-melodies or variants in the original, and having a pretty basic chord progression, keeping this exciting should be a feat- but it doesn't ever lose the listener. No cheating, no bringing in a Wily Castle theme to give you something else easier to expand on- just takes this one everywhere it can be taken while sounding professional the entire way through.

I'm definitely keeping an eye on you from here on out, and best of luck with the thief.

DarKsidE555 responds:

Gaah, sorry for the late response man. I kinda overlooked that one. Thank you VERY much for the indeep view on this. Gotta love reviews like this.

Personally, I do think in the same way here. The X2 loop has so much potential for many kick ass expansion. Beeing techno, classic, mellow or heavy. It doesn't really matter.

Drums were still in a developing phase at that time. Don't worry, I got that problem solved with my newer stuff. They pump now alright. Glad you liked the guitar work! ;)

It was really something I was aiming for. As you said, no cheating. Keeping something in the original way but expanding it with own ideas and without getting into a Wily Castle Theme or something.

Overall, I enjoyed creating it very much, just as I enjoyed reading your awesome review on it! Thanks mucho!
