It represents the season very well.It reminds of what it would look like if John K's flash work mixed with the lowbrow artist shag's work with a super commercial art sensibility.I could defiently see it in a low profile commercial.

Yeah, I really dig those lowbrow artists, but I've grown up with different influences from them... No surf-rock, but late '70's series and movies. Yes to old magazine advertisements... But anyway, I've been unaware of such tendencies until very recently...
Gosh, it's very hard for me to make auto-evaluation of my own work, I feel I'm just starting! It's not the time for me to think on that, but to make more pics.
Anyway, I felt immensely flattered by the fact you compare my amateur pics with the ones of renowned artists.

I liked this picture, and congratulations on winning the tablet. This is a good piece and your style is pretty good. Although the sharpness of the feet and left little finger kind of annoys me, her right forearm in my opinion is a little wider than it ought to be and also she has no right eyebrow. True her hand is there but a little bit of it could be showing or should it be? I don't know.
But besides all that, I really like it so well done and i'm going to see some more of your work.

Of course her forearm is big. Like all my other girls' pics...
And of course she only "shows" one eyebrow. I got the idea from a kiddie show called "GuruGuruTown no Hanamaru". In that series the characters are depicted in a simple style that only shows one eyebrow when necessary to certain facial expressions. It's like the Powerpuff Girls' hands: The fact you can't see them doesn't mean they are some kind of cripples...
I was itching somehow to talk about this matter, so thank you for bringing it up.
