Reviews for "Respite in Eb major"

i thought you went soft on me there for a second.

i have a few songs of yours on my ipod when i heard some of your newer stuff, it just wasn't as exciting, i like your exciting stuff the best, when i heard this i was skeptical but the intro had an interesting feel to it so i decided to wait for a minute, then i heard some o fthe most brilliant piano i've ever heard. Good show. i'll even give it a ten simply because you rpvoed my skepticism wrong

I loved this...

This was a wonderful song. I listened to it a few times in one sitting, and even got to writing a short-film while listening to it. It kinda makes me think of the end of one thing, to start something more beautiful. (Does that make sense?) Bottom line it was good... I kinda wish that it wasn't to piano heavy, like, it's beautiful, but there are just some emotions that a violin, cello, or viola can portray that a piano just can't. Oh well, this was still very good, but in a sad way. Please, create more, you have such a talent that just can't be wasted away.

congrats!

for both the wonderful music and getting into the university. :D Sorry for the really late review, though. ^^;

Phenomenal, Professional

The first thing that struck me about this piece was the impeccable sound quality. This amplified the perfect balance between the sections of the orchestra and the piano. What struck me next was the meticulous use of dynamics. Excellent flows of crescendos and decrescendos accentuated the passionate nature of the song.

Even so, perhaps the most impressive aspect of the composition was its ability to be interpreted in a number of ways. I believe you correctly classified it as, "a sweet romantic piece," but I also sensed a touch of sorrow and heroism in the theme. This bittersweet quality of the song enhanced its character and brilliance.

Fantastic work. Deserves nothing less than a 10.

Quiet.

It's quiet, very nice feeling. Nothing fast or loud or flashy, just quiet beauty. I really like that. You have a very unique talent amoung many of the music artists here in that you can successfully navigate a number of styles, genres and tempos and consistently create really great pieces. Keep it up, hope you do well in Uni.
