Reviews for "The Legacy of Gun Control"

ah

informative

meh it goes 2 ways...

i totaly aggree that beging able to defend ur self and not leting the ass holes in congress and the senate fduck that righ tup... but i mean it wasn't exactly the best idea to make assualt rifles legal... i mean a person doesn'tt need a full automatic ak-47 to keep them selfz safe at night... and plus assualt rifles aare made for only one thing....killing ppl and it's alot more likely that they will be used to attack someoen, mor ethen they will be to defend someoen. but by all menas i do beleive in being able to own a weopon to defend ur self if needed.

Good Message

This is probably one of the best serious movies I've seen on this site. It gives very good information about how dangerous gun control laws can be and how flawed the arguments for them are. I've always wondered how anyone could trust a government that would take away the right of the people to arm themselves. The right of the people to bear arms is a very important factor in our government's system of checks and balances. As long as we have this right, the government must respect the wishes of its people.

Bit too vague

I agree with many others, it was hard to tell exactly which stance you were arguing for. The quote from the holocaust survivor made it seem like you wanted people to have guns, but his argument is flawed. Guns were useful when an extremist group took over but that doesnt happen very often and never in the US. Any other time guns are just pointless and dangerous.

.

politically, a disgusting comparison.

as for the production itself, it illustrated a point using a variety of sources in a way that they were presented directly to the viewer, to offer the message contained within it. Graphically, nothing special, but flowed well, and kept on-message.
