The right answer to Gun Control

It is about time that people saw the message. The fact that if more Germans were armed before Hitler came into power might have made it harder for the Nazis to take control and forces fellow humans into those insulting conditons.

I believe that our nation must be on alert more than ever about this issue. If we allow any liberals to pass any sort of new laws that further hamper our rights to protect ourselves, we will surely become the just like the Nazis, and I personally will not stand for my country going to that level.

The whole reason why america is here is because colonist didn't turn over guns to the british and fought them. In chicago a man shot a burgler who had a knife, the man is now charged (not the burgler) with assult and attemped murder. the burgler got away scotch free! if the man hadn't had the gun, his stuff would of been stolin! in cities with gun control, crime is soaring. in texas crime is just about nill. In the second amendment in the constitution it says we have the right to carry guns. and don't forget hitler, stalin, pol pot, and other dictators who used gun control to get their way. police cant always be there for us, so what happens then?

People don't get it, and that's ok. Most countries that have given up the right to bear arms, or were forced into it, were rounded up, and taken care of. This is the same reason a passivist country can't last. There's always someone looking to exploit weakness. Also, as far as the situation in Iraq being easier if not for the populace being armed? Maybe so, but so would the American Revolution for the British.

You Know whats coming

I have to say thats fairly controvertial, just so I can say something positive it was emotionally done...But you have 2 realise what a load of crap the general message was. I disagree with it on so many levels I dont have room to say everything I want to...But to suggest that all major problems and dictatorial regimes start with gun control is ridiculous. Even if people had fire arms in prewar germany what good would they have done in the long term...Just more people who would have been arrested for resisting the Nazis..If you want an example of what happens when fire arms and personal "freedom" take the place of legitimate law & order look at any number of African nations..(eg Somalia) Also the situation currently in iraq (Najaf and Falluha) wouldnt be half so bad if the entire population werent "packing heat"....phew now i feel alot better.
