the sound and art is great, esp. the loading screen (very cute spoof).
Above all, I'm very glad that the ememy in this does not do that damn-near super-sayin bullshit where they go all hyper just when your'e getting close to killing him/her. "No fair--why can't *I* do that?!"
Lots of potential!
Having loved the Gladiator movie, this portal entry was a welcome. I got a kick out of the start screen. But like others have stated, it is really too easy to be a game. Perhaps if you had created more gladiators to fight, put in a roaring crowd, and gave it more of a feel from the movie, it would've been better.
I expect more from a grilled cheese sandwitch
decent graphics, half way decent concept, could use more interactivity, Plus if you hit the left and right arrows at the same time you can win easy.

wow could you make a worse game? i think not. 2 buttons - attack and block, and like the last guy said - you dont need to block.
Stupid as hell!
This was so dumb. All you do is hold down the attack key and you win. There is no skill involved in this what-so-ever. Who cares about blocking, you don't even need to.
