I love this song
When I first heard the original Silver Memory, I was obsessed. This remix makes the song a million times as good, I can't even believe it. The effects starting at about 2:05 are really cool. What kind of programs did you use for this?
The program to make music is FLStudio (XXL Edition :D). Although, I used Audacity with this song, to adjust and manipulate the piano and vocal tracks that Hania gave me.
Also, there are two methods I used for the effects in that section;
The first effect, where it pans from one speaker to the other (or vice versa for some things), was just manual panning of the different drums and piano samples, but the other stutter and gate effects were made using a VST plugin called Glitch. (Search for Glitch VST on google). I added the VST to the main channel, and turned it off for most of the song. But, I turned the VST volume up on those particular bits, so it would apply the effect to the whole channel.

I thought that Silver memory was originally monotone but you've made it much more dynamic and interesting, you obviously learnt what the story in the song was to accompany it with the syth solo right?

Yeah, I read Hania's news post accompanying Silver Memory, and the overall story and melody really interested me, and I wanted to keep the vocals in the right order for the remix, as I love the lyrics.

Normally, songs like this aren't my "game" or in my "lane". But I was going down the top songs list, and this song is great.
Its melody speaks better than the lyrics itself.

Okay...I agree with karlsazn with the spacing of the vocals, I also didn't think it was possible to remix this song as silentprophet777 said but I guess you did!It has a nice flow like Senital said and as Mydnite said, I'm also speechless.(Wait...was that an oxymoron?)
