Not bad...
Pretty bad sound effects though. Actually, to tell the truth the sound effects sucked. They were horrible. Go to findsounds.com for some good sfx. I did like the animation though. Nice and smooth. Just add some bg music. Oh yeah, you used fuck too many times. Next time, calm down on the fucks. But other than those, pretty good movie. Oh yeah, and add credits or something. It just looped at the end. That was kinda gay. But yeah, you're just learning. Keep up the good work.
Not to bad
It was a good movie and i am now going to watch the next part of it to c wat happens :)
Good for a start...
But needs work. The music often ends abruptly, there are too many scenes with awkward silene, the characters sometimes talk several seconds after the spoken dialogue, the voice acting is a tad lacking, the backgrounds use a rather odd focus blur effect that needs tweeking and the ending is a bit abrupt as well. But on the positive side, surprisingly good visuals for stick figures, an interesting "supernatural" storyline and a real sense of drama. Good work, but it could stand to use improvement.
Great Potential
The meager sound effects notwithstanding, your plot development and animation skills are respectable. In fact, I noticed an advancing progression of talent as your movie played. You obviously tweaked the frame-by-frame animation as you developed the story. You have emergent talent, which means you have great potential. Keep it up, and focus on synchronizing appropriate sound effects with the action. Only then will your budding artistry be fully appreciated. I enjoyed watching your animation.
Nice Animation
The animation rocked, the only things I didn't like about the animation were the blurry backgrounds and the stretching arms (because they remind me of hentai tentacle rape). Everything besides the animation was utter shit. The sound was retarded and didnt wasnt even synchronized well. The voices (yours im assuming) were all similar sounding, low quality, and bad acting overall. The story was utterly lame, did not really have any imaginative parts in it at all. As for music, was there any? Could've used some, or more if there was some.
My advice to you is put more imagination into it, don't only work on the fighting and art and shit, because without imagination it ruins the rest of it. Think of a unique and interesting story. Get some help with sounds/music, fix the blurry backgrounds, lose tentacle rape arms, and you could make some fucking sick movies.
Sorry for the long reply. You are right. The sound was shitty, everything about this film was shitty. If I remember i did this for a final project in HS and the dead line was coming up. Now to work on those shitty things I am in film school and now that I look at the filM FUCK it sucks. I like my less serious stuff more than this film. I look foward to future flash films and submitting them. Thank you
