Discover mode

This is the default game mode. Explore the areas, find clues and try to figure out who is chasing you! Counting on several branching you can trace your own path and then share your outcomes with your friends.

Backstage mode

This is the alternate game mode. Same place, same characters, same story. However, in this mode, you'll play every single segment as a different protagonist from Discover Mode (similar to The Dark Pictures Anthology's mechanics). Here you'll see a bit less branching, but some results are slightly easier to get compared to the previous game mode.

Flashbacks

Through these glimpses from the past, the game will help you to understand what's going on in the present. After finishing a segment you'll be able to see a new flashback. They are completely optional and you can disable them if you want.

Choices Map

This resource has been seen previously on Fateless, but here it's upgraded. Every 3 fragments you find (there're 15 in the whole game) you unlock a new segment in the Choices Map. The Choices Map allows you to see all possible choices and branching in Discover Mode (similar to Detroit: Become Human's mechanics).

[PATCH 1 - 09/21/2022]

- The arcade puzzle was redesigned;

- Decision time was increased;

- Now, pressing X once will summarize the dialogue and twice will skip it;

- Scene selection screen added (may not work if you finished the game before the update. Try to clear the browser cache);

- Note: Every new game started from a selected scene will replace the following saved scenes.
