October 29th update:
Multiplayer version is ONLINE!!

Tactics Core is a 100% Flash based game engine for developing Strategy RPGs in Flash. I've created a demo game to show what it can do. You'll find it quite challenging at first, but once you figure out how all the units attack, it'll be much easier. Also, if you're lucky, the most powerful unit, Daemon, might appear on your team! Visit for more info!

Thanks all for your feedback =)
As most of you have noticed, I incorporated the turn queueing system from FFT, however the battle system is more reminiscent of DK4, where you acquire many distinct units, each of which has only one specific function to make it easier to learn for a Flash game.

I have exceeded the bandwidth limit on my server so this demo is hosted on Newgrounds now, and the instructions will no longer show while it is loading.

Once again, Thank you Newgrounds =)

Ignore the haters. This game rocks.

You guys should check out the mobile android game Age Of Strategy. One of the best turn based strategy games I ever played.

A great, challenging game, but it's short, and you have to play it some times before you understand how the characters work. If it was five battles instead of one, I'd have given it a 5 (because then it would have justified how inaccessible it is).

Man, I haven't played this in ages, but this still holds up. The style is still unique, the basic system classic and functional. And I always loved the twist with the demon! I'm just sad it never seemed to go anywhere, or did it? Anyway, this is and always has been an amazing game with a lot of potential.

This game is a massive headache. The unit congestion, lack of angles, and inability to see what team someone is on makes this virtually unplayable. It's impressive for 2003 but simply not fun.
