Author Comments

This is my first all-Flash anime short, and first submission to any site like this.

This is not broad comedy -- it is intended for a literary audience, specifically fans of the writings of H.P. Lovecraft. If you are not such a person and watch this anyway, you may want to read this first before you write a review.

The voice actresses, for those who wondered, are linked to on my own site, and you can look forward to hearing them again in upcoming animation projects.

For more info on H.P. Lovecraft and his works referenced in this short, I highly recommend this site: http://www.gizmology.net

Love it!

xDDD I love Lovecraft's headdesking (Alright, so it's not really headeskking... Headcoffin...ing?) The artwork is also very wonderful!

BTW, I actually have a Cthulhu plushy myself. But I treat him with much more respect than that.

SHEER GENIUS!!!!

That was one of the best animations I've ever seen on NG. I Love Anime, And I got the joke. So thank you for enlightening my day. It was totally worth watching. When should your next one be ready?

I don't know how long it'll be until the next one, but I could have had something up for Valentine's Day if work didn't get in the way.

All praise the mighty Cthulu

One really needs a knowledge of HP Lovecraft and his masterworks to understand this movie. Cthulu is an alien/god thing of death and suffering. A plush Cthulhu is what made the skeleton (Lovecraft) roll over in his grave.

I gave it high marks all over. The 10 in violence is simply because it involved ctuhulu... a being infinitely more evil and horrid than the christian devil.
