It was the skeleton of the man who wrote the books. He was a horror writer and the fact those "cute girls" were having a tea party with the elder god was driving him crazy. Really funny given the fact that just learning of the Elder Gods in the novels would drive people insane.
I didn't get the humor but...
I realy didn't understand why the skelleton was beating it's head on the coffin but that realy doesn't matter except to people to understand the humor. I realy loved the graphics and the voices were clear and crisp as some one might put it.

well, actually I'm not somebody how luaghs about "broad comedy" as you call it, and I always apreciate it, when somebody creates a story/film/song with a deeper meaning.
But this is so wannabe, I didn't like it.
