Did someone say Bullet Hell game? Dodge thousands of colourful bullets through tons of levels and take down massive bosses!
My adaptation to the classic "Bullet Hell" genre, with upgrades and of course, tons of bullets.
For performance issues, there are a lot of detail changes available under OPTIONS on the level select screen.
Controls:
Mouse: Move ship
Click: Use bomb
Z: (If upgraded) Use slow shield
X: (If upgraded) Use gold shield
P: Pause
Q: (When paused) Return to level select
ESC: Return to level select
M: Mute/ Unmute
SPACEBAR: Fire at boss
Right Click: Mute option

(Gold score update)
The game now tracks your total gold throughout the whole game! based on your total gold you can increase your total score by very small amounts. (1000 total gold = 1 total score point)

An excellent and well put together game. While exceedingly difficult at times, mastery of subtly adjustments and recognizing patterns make Rivea accessible to anyone (though I can't imagine playing on a trackpad). The bright colors and up tempo music give it a very lively feel and the rainbow of colors actually helps the player differentiate between sources of bullets. The last two challenge levels are brutal to say the least. The only time I experienced lag was during the second boss fight when I was firing the beam and using the gold shield at the same time; otherwise I had zero problems throughout the entire game. I have had a pleasure playing and will definitely be returning to defend my ranking.

This is another one of those games that's just a roller coaster from beginning to end! I was amazed at how fast paced everything was! After awhile, it all comes down to you just not getting hit by the other things. There were so many of these little things flying around, I thought I was playing a bacteria game! The music is really nice too. Boy, do you need those upgrades.
I love how there are so many wonderful and colorful things to show off with your bullets. Sure, they're a pain in the butt, but at least they're pretty to look at. I had no idea I'd get so many medals! Of course, it helps there are a lot of them. It's difficult, but very fun.

Very good game! There are still a couple of issues to work out, though.
-The menu/ship upgrade/tutorial animations take way too long. At first I thought it was my computer lagging, but it's not. At the very least, throw in a 'skip' button, or make the menu useable while the game is guiding you through it.
-The game got (pleasantly) difficult after round 4, but there should probably be a little bit more of a difficulty curve rather than a difficulty spike.
Overall, the game is awesome. Job well done.
