This is a 3D animated short film prologue I spent 9 months working on, it was made in Autodesk Maya and rendered using Pixar's Renderman. The film is about a mysterious character who explores the dark depths of a giant abandoned facility. The purpose of this instalment is to create an atmosphere and establish the environment. It acts as a prologue to a whole series of upcoming shorts films about the character's journey through the facility; this is just the first phase of the story.

Very nice! I thought it was very cinematic and artistic, with an intriguing sense of lonliness curiosity. Well done, keep it up.

That's my type of flash animation/series. Can't wait to see what's next.

I wouldn't worry yourself with derps like Jack-Mase down there. Who the hell cares what the bridge is suspended from! Amazing job on this one!

My only real critic is the lack of movement of your character, has the same running sway the whole time.

i've given 5 stars to people who have done way less work than this. the scope of this project is breathtakingly vast, which is reflected in the hugeness of the facility. a sense of mystery is nicely laid out and i find myself wondering at the purpose of a building of that size and complexity.

the modeling, textures, and lighting were all very professional looking, the only thing that bugged me was the walk cycle of the character.
