This is a 3D animated short film prologue I spent 9 months working on, it was made in Autodesk Maya and rendered using Pixar's Renderman. The film is about a mysterious character who explores the dark depths of a giant abandoned facility. The purpose of this instalment is to create an atmosphere and establish the environment. It acts as a prologue to a whole series of upcoming shorts films about the character's journey through the facility; this is just the first phase of the story.

It sucked me right in, if I get to see the next installments I hope you keep the mysteriousness in it. There are some comments about the character movement but I dont think it's that important.

Hope to see more.

I thought the graphics were pretty nice and i love the mysteriousness of the film. A couple of things that kind irk is me one: the way he runs. his back is too straight and he runs really stiffly. Also he lifts his knees up a bit too high and extends the legs too far out when running. seems oddly unrealistic. and second: the way he grips his spas12 when running i guess. it's held at a awkward angle. The hand sporting the gun is way too far out the side. The gun is also parallel to the ground. should be at a more relaxed 45 degree angle and more closer to the chest of the character. other than that, i thought this was great !

keep up the great work my fren

I wouldn't worry yourself with derps like Jack-Mase down there. Who the hell cares what the bridge is suspended from! Amazing job on this one!

My only real critic is the lack of movement of your character, has the same running sway the whole time.

This is a very interesting 3D flash. The setting was unique itself. I don't understand why someone would complain about the physics or structural design of the facility. It looks very much like a futuristic setting so anything is possible with the physics .Sure its not got a much and it's kind of dull there is always room for improvement. Also, the characters movements were a bit off and looked very weird. Overall, this is a very nice animation and has a lot of potential. Well done. Will hope to see more from your future submissions related to this.

It looks great, I like your cinematography and the subtle camera movements to make us feel sickly and at unease! The animation doesn't have much weight to it he looks like he floats around but it still works so well done. You're great at creation environments, what did you reference for the scenes? Deadspace was one of them I'm guessing?Well done dude! Also the corridor scene with the fans looks awesome I love the lighting in it.
