3/20: Finally, after many delays and inherent setbacks that come with collaborating over long distances, Stainville 2 is finally complete. While not as gritty as the original, the animation and overall quality are definitely a step up from the last installment.

Big thanks once again to Alexander Loredo-Stone (aka. Proj) who came up with some excellent background music and our own Stainville intro theme.

Anyways, kick back and enjoy the show.

This animation seems to be more for you to enjoy than anybody else, in that it seems like there are a lot of inside jokes, so I will withhold my opinion of whether or not I lthought it was entertaining. However, the animation itself was very good: the art was very well done, it had a lot of content which, if you are a fan, is good, and it definitely had its funny moments. You have a lot of potential considering how well you are doing so far. I'm eager to see what you do in the future.

Alpha-Nuva responds:

There are one or two inside jokes, if you can even call them that. The most we did was base certain characters off of people we knew, but still managing to give them an identity that general audiences would understand. We wanted to make this cartoon something that can stand on its own and also be appreciated by people who understood the references.

Thank you for the honest review.

the story is kinda hard to follow but it was still original and thats good to see now and days especially with studios spying each other making two snow white movies.

Alpha-Nuva responds:

I don't think those two studios were spying on each other. Two Snow Whites coming out at the same time will probably be bad for marketing.

would have given it 5 stars but the volume seriously needs to be normalized. I had to constantly turn my speakers up and down. I would turn it up cuz I could barely hear one voice, then I get blasted by a super loud voice/sfx. I enjoyed the story, volume is only problem

This is probably one of the best animations on newgrounds, i love how you guys made fun of cartoons where the cages have bars that are too seperate from each other, you make fun of obvious and simple things that so many can and could do, but what stupid humans and cartoon characters don't do, the sounds and music tones are incredible high and impressive, the main characters are never oblivious to any-thing at all, but in a creative and slightly funny way, the animation is impressive and is at a 8,8/9 niveau, most of the voices are Awesome and impressive and the quality of them is one of the best qualities i have ever fucking heard.

Some of the random humor is actually well thought out, thought i felt some of it was a bit unecessary and almost dragged on, i did not like the one about the boobs, the thing about that sound was different and was "just random".

But what i truly love is the unexpected things that just suddenly happened in seconds, such as the broom scene, that was kind of funny because i felt it was "unexpected" and not "random" because i could not predict that to happen, i also noticed that you guys made characters that were similar to other characters, but your characters seemed to stay original regardless of that, i also like how the characters acts like how the audience sees the situations they are in, they are in trouble, it's bad, but it's "not that bad" (because it's an animation and we've seen high school kids being in trouble countless of times, and we know what characters they are up against, but it's even more usual because Stainville seems to rely on that).

The only thing that feels weird is why the guys are apparently so "wanted" or disliked, even though i know it is because they randomly killed some BG charaters in ep1, it just still feels weird to me, it's a little too random at times, and i wonder why that Goose is so helpful to them, i usually hate random humor but you guys do it right.

Humor: It never made me laugh out hard, it felt a bit clever, srsly, but i wonder how long Stainville will stay as entertaining, i did get a few little chuckles and laughters, but they were little.

- The characters ARE one-dimensional, though they know what is obvious, they just seem to be doing things, a lot like how Bella (Twilight) just does everything, because, she does, what happens just happens, they are too similar to each other and need more personality, i can't pick a favorite in any way.

- The randomness, i think it will stop being funny pretty fast, the boob thing as well, the random face expressions, wacky faces, big mouths, they're close to "so random faces XD", the vechiles were surprising, i still think too many random things happen and i know it's a fucking cartoon but it's really really random but in an almost too fast-paced way IMO.

Other than that, it was impressively made.

I got bored and stopped watching, sorry.
But as the dude below me said at least it's original.
In a time where everyone is trying to be egoraptor.
