IMPORTANT: I don't know why but the game has very strange performance issues on newgrounds.com. If the gameplay is slow you can try find this game on another website.

Once upon a time far far away in the Forbidden Lands.. Well in general your mission is to save local inhabitants from the creatures of Professor Evildorf. So good luck and take care :-)

Use WSAD keys to move, use mouse for aiming and shooting. Collect bonuses, avoid enemies. Don't forget to visit weapons shop and try yourself in survival mode. Buy fuel cell kits to get access to new missions. Post your result to most popular social networks right from the game. Take a part in competition for the first place in hiscores based on expirience level.

Not bad but would be a lot better if the graphic is more user-friendly. Those small pixels on shiny green background hurt my eyes.

one of the best parts about Crimsonlands was that only a few weapons had limited range, the blowtorch/flamethrower being the only two i can think of off-hand. Projectile weapons didn't have their shots inexplicably disappear on you.

It was a nice little time waster, but nothing more. Woud love to see a longer version with more unlockables and more bosses :)

Fun, but becomes so laggy it's unplayable...

And my rockets didn't seem to damage the last boss no matter how much I upgraded the launcher.

There are bullet hell games that don't get laggy like this game, so it should be fixable. It may be due to needing to pool the MovieClip objects rather than relying on flash's garbage collector which isn't very good.
