UPDATE 9/24/2011: I have officially uploaded and credited all tracks from the musical score. They are updated in the menu as well.

UPDATE 9/23/2011: Daily 3rd AND front page?! On Madness Day?!! Thank you SOOO much guys. I've added two new audio tracks to the credits section. The last two will be up tomorrow.

So here it is, "Madness Heist". I'd like to start off by saying I am sorry only half of the music tracks have been uploaded. My brother (the composer) and I didn't realize there was a 2 upload per day limit. The rest of the tracks should be up by Saturday.

Anyway, about the movie:

This was definitely my most "collaborative" project to date. I think all of my voice actors did an outstanding job and really make the movie what it is. Also, my brother (MrRedstone) was nice enough to score the ENTIRE feature. Literally, ALL the music you hear was created by him so give him some props as well. Between the VA's and the composer, and of course animating the project, I think I was able to reach the cinematic effect I was going for.

I'd like to say more, but I don't want to give too much away. So once again, PLEASE ENJOY!

That was amazing, man! Here's my FULL review.

Story 9/10: Deep and slightly complex. I didn't exactly understand the whole idea of the heist, but pretty good nonetheless. Cool ending, too.

Sound 5/10: I know it's strange going from Praising to Complaining, but I just gotta say this: RECORD CORRECTLY. I had to turn my volume REALLY high up because of how low the volume was of the recording. At least I could hear the stupid audio.

Animation 8/10: Decent. Action scenes are really good and fluent.

Voices and Dialouge 10/10: This is the real awesomeness point for me. The voices were well picked and the dialouge was fantastic.

OVERALL 10/10: Great film, Matt. I'm really glad I had the time to watch this, seeing as this is much longer than the Madness movies that I've seen. Good film. In my opinionn for those who are reading this from my profile, I greatly recommend this masterpiece to anyone willing to watch it.

Rated 3 / 5 stars

tad overrated

The story is a cliched hodgepodge of every heist movie ever. The bank job is a rip of Heat, right down to the dialogue, the colors thing is a rip of Reservoir Dogs, etc. The voice acting is pretty good to flat out bad (Evans...I'm looking at you). The graphics are fairly unoriginal and dated looking, which may be fitting since Madness is a classic series. But, the action flowed smoothly and was enjoyable. All in all, no too shabby, but not nearly deserving of as high a rating as it stands right now.

Story Matters.

This is a really good flash that I've enjoyed a lot. The story was really great for a madness flash; most of them are just mindless killing.

The only problem I have with this, is the animation. It's somewhat choppy/sub-par to live up to the awesome story this flash has, and I personally felt that the animation did not back the plot up to make it feel smooth. It's just my opinion.

However, I DID enjoy this; don't get me wrong. I can even see this as a short live-action film!

Anyways, Nice flash. :)
