Detective Gun Steele travels through the dimensions fighting crime with his new partner Ib Ibson. This is only the beginning, an introduction to a futuristic phenomenon.
A Vdubfilms Animachon.
I actually had to create an account just so I could counteract some of these idiots that claim your movie has no plot, clearly they are all blind to see, a bad guy is destroying the city, gun steele gets a partner, races to the crime scene, kills the monster-whatever. Anyway great movie. I certainly enjoyed the chaotic feel of the movie, the music fit well, the scene transitions were great, 10/10. Suck it haters :)
Somehow I was able to get most of what you made in the first time I watched it. As most of the other posts have said it was a little hard to follow. This was mainly towards the beginning though. As you get past the new partner scene, I get a more clear picture of what is actually going on; the guys fight crime and then go and party. Pretty simple story line, very complex graphics.
I have to hand it to you on the amount of time that it might have taken you to make this entire piece, one click at a time. You have gratuitous amounts patience for how long this was. The graphics were very colorful and in tune with the environment that you had created early on. It set the mood for something... (Still can't think of the word)
Anyway, great job on your handling of this project. Just a little more tweaking on your timing and the will be better understanding.
A lot of effort in there
I'm gonna be honest. You didn't plan your animation at all, did you? I mean, i like when there's a lot of random stuff happening, it's really spontaneous, but it didn't fit the claymotion you made. In my point of view, you should make a better planned video and even pay more attention to the character poses and movement they are going to make, sometimes i can't predict what the characters are gonna do, i mean there's no anticipation involved. You put a lot of effort in your animation, but honestly it wasn't good... it didn't got my attention and i'm not gonna remember it tomorrow!
Keep it up, you've got skills, patience and you really stick to your work until the end, which is awesome and not many people do these days.
I believe the animation, lighting, and foil coming out of the mouths was awesome, plus you are really good at working clay. But. . . .
I can see something going on, yet you had no plot to me this was just a bunch of randomness. It just like a wordless book, there's lots of pictures you don't see the main character alone, there are hands in the way, and it's over before it even begins. I was going to give you a 8 but after reading what I wrote I'm going to bring it down to a 6.
Sorry, But keep up with the clay motions and everything. You should just throw in some audio some goofy ass friends and other than that.
It was probably good but I couldn't understand what was going on, the claymation stuff doesn't really appeal to me either but nonetheless it was well made.
