Nice
I would really appreciate u coz this must be u r first time.I am glad u tried.
This is my first flash movie thingimajig ever, so let 'er rip! be honest I will enjoy any constructive criticism!
Very little coding, just for the buttons at the start. Things like the time clock, are just graphic changes every 20 frames (vid runs at 20fps)
This was mostly a way for me to learn the processes involved with creating a vid like learning how to tween and such. I then stumbled upon the Advanced Sprite Tutorial, and decided make a vid using Sonic, my favorite childhood character! Towards the end, I decided to add buttons, and had to get help with that.
Thanks to all those who allowed the use of their graphics, and made this possible (I am a horrible horrible artist!!!!)
I hope to use this as a building block for creating more complex movies/games, but for now this is as good as it gets.
This is purely a way for me to get feedback, and should not be construed as an attempt to profit off of the use of Sega and the Sonic Teams images.
Enjoy.
P.S. I read all the rules and stuff... I hope its all good

jeez
amzing u know how flash works....
Needs something more.
At the moment, it's kinda dull and boring. But you did say this was practice, and I suppose for a test, it's not that bad. I think Sonic could have been running faster maybe (kinda felt like he was running with some sort of restraining on his movements). Love the music though, and it seems you know how to handle music well in a flash.
The sprite where Sonic stopped randomly to lay down looked a bit odd, like pixel-y. Might have been a bad sprite or it wasn't cropped well. But easily fixable. I think the biggest issue is, you should make it much longer next time. Maybe something funny or random. Sprite sonic is usually good fodder for that =P
Good luck on your next try.
I was trying to use the sprites, for actions sonic doesnt really have (at least any sprites I could find).
The intent was to have him stop so fast that he falls backwards, then flips around so hes lying down facing the other way (the pose from the games continue screen)
I also just realized I completely forgot the charge-up sound for the end... I will have to get that.
Im working on my next one, and im actually currently working on beefing up his running!
Thanks for the advice!
cool
i missed that music
Not bad...
You're just testing, right? Looks good for a first try...
Let's see if you can come up with something bigger next time!
