Oh WOW! O_O I got Daily 2nd Place. Thank you so much, all of you! Believe me when I say this, I cherish all your feedback and it has really inspired me to get off my butt to spiffy Rain with its original ending. I'm sure you all will love it far more than this one. However, this Rain will always hold a special place in my heart just as all of you do. I feel really honored. x3

For those of you who don't quite understand the story... here it is. ^_^

Storyline::
Cain is a young man who has fallen into the daily drudges of going back and forth to work everyday. He leads a mediocre life in a town on the surface. On a rainy day, he exits his home to travel up into the sky city of Eriin via a Gor-gata, a domesticated Gor (dragon-like creature) that was bred to morph into a train. The turbulence unconsciously causes him to look about the cabin where he finds a beautiful young lady looking at him. Being shy, he looks away, only look up to see the girl sitting down next to him. Before the Gor-gata arrives at the station, the girl motions for his hand and places multiple seeds within it. When the train stops, she smiles at him and leaves to exit the train. Cain looks down at his hands, confused as to why she gave him the seeds. When he looks back up to question her, all he sees is a floating orb that disappears beyond the train. Contemplating this strange occurrence, he looks down to the seeds and notices one has already sprouted within his hands.

I can honestly say...

The color selection was great, the music choice was great...

But the graphics/animation seemed lacking and inconsistent, and the way this was presented simply did not keep my interest. Not a single thing in motion seemed to move naturally. Everything was choppy and slow like a broken robot, and while some backgrounds and characters were detailed and nice, other things like the train looked like they were doodled in three seconds. Most of the shots were unnecessarily long and although it seems like you were trying to give this some special symbolism, it didn't have any apparent meaning. As a result, that made the already-strange movie make less sense.

I'm afraid I didn't really enjoy this apart from the very nice colors and music.

Loved it

The music is awesome, drawing is alright, and the beginning hooked me
:P
i think it would be better if you added more parts like the beginning and made the animation a bit less choppy

Nice music and art, but the animation needs some serious work. The part where he walks outside looks weird--maybe it's because his ankles are completely stiff (it *almost* looks like a mech lumbering along). Some perspective shots were a bit weird too (one of which made the girl's face look morphed). Seems like you're pretty good at drawing characters, but not so much with animating humans.

Promising

I loved the song from DNAngel and the use of moon runes (I wont spoil what they say). The animation was fairly fluent. However my biggest problems were the lack of a loading screen and A title/start menu. (auto play isn't always the best to do) and of course a credits would be nice as well. I give it an 8/10 stars and a score of 4/5. Keep up the good work.

Clarevoyant responds:

Kinda silly to give credits when it's only to two people... and both are in the Author & File information.

Excellent!!!

This makes me think of a video game opening.
I'm sure you've heard that before, but still. It kind of reminds me of Final Fantasy VII a little bit.
Another thing is that this sounds like music from Eternal Sonata or Kingdom Hearts.

Clarevoyant responds:

Actually you are the first to say that it seems like a game opening.

Also the song is True Light, as I said in the author comments, so it's from neither. It's from D.N. Angel.
