This was done in an animation class where I learned very little. We just had a few days (maybe 10 hours in total) to make a short flash animation. I was done in about 6 hours.

Anyway, it's just kinda experimental, trying to exercise my animation skills, incorporating walk cycles, plants growing, masking, tweening, and loads more.

There's probably a metaphor in there somewhere, not sure what though..

its odd and slow

the animations weren't horrible, but they ran at a slow fps rate that made the flash look very unprofessional.

the story was pretty good, showing how your beginning wants to eat you.... wait....

ok, i seriously diddnt find anything deep in it

its actual fps was a bit shaky and cheaply done, but it had a charm to it... i cant quite identify what though...

good job, but not great...

Insanimation responds:

Heh, thanks. We actually weren't allowed to work with anything other than 12fps. It seriously sucks, as I'm used to 24..

Also, did I mention it was done with a mouse?

growth...

if you need a moral - "you never escape your roots"
too obvious? sorry.
i've been in courses that suck, but the format gave me the opportunity to expand my own interests. so even if there was little on the plate in terms of productive instruction, you at least may have the chance to grow, yourself. heck, at least you got a short to post on Newgrounds

Insanimation responds:

Thanks :) That's a great little metaphor there :D

Exactly, that was my whole view on the course.

needs more story

this was very good animation but should have had a bit more...

Insanimation responds:

Thanks for the review!

Nice creativity there

I liked the music, but I think you should have used something else.. something more relaxing.

Insanimation responds:

Thanks. I was looking for something, but I didn't have much time to find it. :)
