Hey Newgrounds! This is my first flash game and first submission here - it's been on Kongregate for the last week.

Don't Look Back is a game about fantasy. Just to warn you, it can be quite tricky in places... I hope you enjoy it!

That was pretty awesome

It was simple, both in visual design and in gameplay, but that's what makes this game work well. There's challenge in many of these encounters, and giving the player infinite tries ensures they stick with it until they figure out how to get past these challenges. Very nice, I enjoyed it.

Simple but Amazing

Amazing concept and for this I greatly thank you. It has been years now that I have been preaching the same thing over and over, "It's not about the graphics, it's simply about the game." This right here is a prime example what I mean. You don't need flashy animations or solid graphics, it's all about appealing gameplay. I greatly thank you for what you have done. 10/10. Amazing job.

Great game!

How do you beat the boss? Shooting doesn't do anything, nor do the lightning bolt looking things. Anyways. Great game. I LOVED how when you clicked outside the screen, it immediately paused. Great concept and yes, it got VERY frustrating. Looking for more!

an experience

There should be more games based on greek mythology.

The ending reallly took me by surprise... this game had a great atmosphere and was a truly enjoyable experience.

Yes, as you said it CAN be tricky..

.. but it IS possible. I played it on Kongregate when it was new and got REALLY frustrated at parts, but I was eventually able to win.
At first the name didn't really make sense with the premise for me.. but then I got to the second part and I'm like "shit.. NOW I get it."
It was fun, and the pixel-style worked very well.
Very nicely done.
