Wow. This took a while. You'll see what you mean when you see how much detail i've put into this and how many frames. My proudest work to date. This covers:

Movement
Gravity
Floors
Doors
Walls
Enemy AI
Attacks
Health And Items/Powerups.

Sorry about being weak in enemy AI, i'm not very smart in it :P. Right click for options, and enjoy - I put a lot of work into this :)

EDIT: Added Flash API - be sure to click the ad for me ;D. I like moneh :D.

It would be very helpful if it could just explain more about like were the scripts go and stuff like that like when u said put the var in it doesnt really tell were to put the var stuff and so on........

"Need specifity"

action script seems a very fiddly buisness where everything has to be spot on, for this to happen you Have to be specific about what happens, example, "make 3 frames, put animations in this order" i'm already lost. what does this mean? you must explain precisely. am i supposed to press f6 until i have 3 blank key frames then draw a man standing in one, mid running sequence in one and mid jump with one? what??(well thats what i did, then to the next part where it says "now the variables" do i put those codes in right next to the one i just did or what? which box? i'm sorry its probably just me but it doesent make sense
