Vox Pops - Drunk Dracula

Author Comments

An animation created for my Animation 3 - Character Animation class about 18 months ago. It was basically an exercise in lip synch, emotion, character acting and movement.

One of my better animations.

Special thanks:
to Pete, Karren and Adam for filming and recording the audio with me.
to the random people we interviewed at UWS Kingswood Campus.
to the guy who's audio I used. (He talked for 15 minutes about anything and everything).

Not bad

I think that your animation and sync were very nice, but maybe you could have made the conversation a bit more lively and enetrtaining by showing another character or something... I mean the whole thing was kinda dull.
Also, that didn't look like Dracula to me at all, and yes, I have seen Coppola's movie.

not bad

it could be better

agent-sarah6 responds:

Of course it could. A load better, in fact.

Of your review I say...

it could be more informative.

Wasent Bad

It was more of a Random animation about a guy talking to somone really, which can be funny a times, and i liked the Cartoon. 6/10.

agent-sarah6 responds:

Thanks. Nice to know someone likes it.

Not my cup of tea

BOOOOORING. Work on the arm movement. Work on the background quality, otherwise it was ok work on the mouth.

agent-sarah6 responds:

I'll give you the bit about the arm movement. After 2 days straight in front of a computer, with a looming deadline, I stopped caring about arm movement and just wanted to get it done.

If you think he's boring then you should have seen the other people we interviewed. At least this guy gave more than a one sentence answer.

The background was created in Painter. I used to like Painter. Until I realised how crap it was and how much more I liked Sketchbook Pro. As for the b/g animation, I wanted to cheat to get it done. I don't like it either.

UH?

Don't know if I'm the first person with a brain to write you a review, 'cuz your previous fans use words like "pople", "charicter", and "actibg", and phrases like "more funnier". That having been said, WTF?!?! To be honest, the art could use some attention, the subject matter nearly as dull as your background, and still there has been no discernible reason for that video's existence.

agent-sarah6 responds:

To be fair, these days I call myself an illustrator and not an animator. My illustrations are far better than this. Take this one for example: http://agent-sarah6.deviantart.com/ar t/The-Silent-Monk-47396957

Check my DA gallery for more. http://agent-sarah6.deviantart.com/ga llery/

Secondly, if you want to attack other people's comments then make sure that your own comment is at least intelligible. This subject was also the most interesting of the lot, considering everyone else we interviewed for the assignment didn't say much at all.

All in all your comment isn't all that helpful. Next time that you decide to be critical, make sure you back up your opinion with some reasons.
