This and the others in the series are a beautifully conceived work of art, the backgrounds and sprites perfectly rendered and the well thought out plot works perfectly.
Unlike Davoo I appreciate this for what I see it as, yes I enjoy the use of violence in the animations, however I also enjoy the way the characters are portrayed as real, in our hearts Mario and Luigi and the other folk of the Mushroom Kingdom have always been real to each of us, but this helps us to remember how we all first felt when we started to play the Mario games and through the years how Mario himself has grown, developed and even evolved.

After several years I still watch this and the atmosphere of the funeral still chokes me up. This is more than a parody, this is a piece of dramatic art.
