I like the concept but not a fan of the gold cap. The first upgrades seems to have no discernible effect on damage so without testing the other upgrades, I cannot tell if they are worth the extra time.

Not a big fan of the slow movement, good game though!

To me, it looks like a graphically improved version of "Phantom Knight - A Heroes Retribution".
I loved that game when it came out, and this remake has a lot of potential, but there are some things that need to be fixed:
1) the running animation. I've read in the description that the full version will have better animations, so I hope the running one will be part of the team;
2) the world is too barren. Basically, it's just wandering around empty rooms made of stone, killing everything that stands in your path. I'm ok with the killing spree part (old platform style), but the world is really, REALLY too barren. Add some furniture, trees, perhaps open-air levels. Detail more the world the knight is fighting in.
...
if you want an advice to get some greenlight support, add at least one or two new enemies to this demo, or else people will consider it just a Phantom Knight remake. And some tables or wall-shackles, too. Just to give people a taste of what they will see on Steam.
I hope this project will make it to the full version, I am a great fan of knighty-knighty old-school platforms.
Keep up the great work, mate!

It's a platformer, alright. Pretty generic, and I am NOT a big fan of the forced-upgrade system, I prefer to just wait until I can get the best shit and go through everything. Overall, nothing that new, still pretty enjoyable.

I'm a sucker for platformers, so they tend to get a higher rating from me by default. While this one doesn't necessarily bring anything unique to the format, it was enjoyable enough to almost nab a 4 star rating... until my money stopped rising at $12,500 just as I was about to upgrade to the $13,000 ranged weapon.
