I don't know about the other people but I loved it. Thought it was extremely hilarious. The best part was with cyndaquil and hoot-hoot, plus I like that you drew everything by hand. I've been trying to make a flash (but I'm really crappy, impatient, and don't have a lot of free time) so seeing people like you who enjoy making flashes makes me want to keep on going.

So, allow me to preface this by saying that I don't watch a lot of things in the portal any more, as I mostly listen to music and play games. And most of what I watch is probably not comedy. So maybe I'm just not where I should be in making this review or I'm just different from everyone else.
But I didn't find a single funny thing in this video.

Don't get me wrong. This is decent quality, better than a lot of things I've seen, and certainly better than a lot of things on Newgrounds. I also really applaud you for drawing it instead of using sprites. I'm not a sprite hater, but I do appreciate a drawn work, even if it isn't the best quality.
But I had problems with this.

The main problem, again, is that I didn't find anything funny. I didn't laugh once. And please don't say it's my sense of humor, because I have one and it isn't that bad or different from others. But blowing things up, having random shouting pokemon and swears for no reason aren't really that great. I think some of the jokes would have been great (like the cyndaquil one or the trainer calling one) if the execution would have been different. A lot of them were things that could and would happen if life were like pokemon and I would have laughed if the execution were better. And I probably would have laughed at the opening if it weren't for that stupid Lugia pooping thing. But the Navi thing at the end was the last straw for me. It wasn't funny and it put out a horrid message. I know. Let's shun our companions and then have them come back to help us by playing against the rules and blowing someone's brains out, despite the horrid way we treated them. Then, after high-fiving, maybe we can go out for ice-cream and hope our companion doesn't shoot us too, remembering what we did to them.
Maybe I'm a tad more mature than I should be when watching these kinds of videos. But I didn't think the humor was humorous, and that should be the major thing.

On other notes, I like some of the music and most of the sound effects, but the music (I think it's from Super Mario RPG) that plays in the town-like sequences could have been better chosen and the voice of cyndaquil was just horrible in my opinion.
I also hated the noise that played for the title of each sequence.

I'm giving you a five because I find this average. The humor is sub-par for me, but there are quite a few redeeming qualities that bring it up a bit.

This shit had me cracking the fuck up, the drawings were so-so to pretty good but combined with your animation skills they were good enough to effectivly deliver each joke. The sound was superb. I like how you poked fun at things that i always found to be messed up/stupid about the games, like how everyone always says the same thing over and over (like that loser in bellsprout tower whos life goal it is to inform everyone about the centre pillar.... then BAM once somone questioned it, lmao). Or how most caves throughout each game are generically named "dark cave" -_- lol. The scene that had me laughing the hardest was poliwrath not wanting to listen because his level was to high xD(mostly because of the complete and utter randomness of what poliwag did at the end). Your style of humor is very refreshing :D

i watched the show religiously when i was a little tot, i was a card freak for a good year or two (grade 2 i think), and the handheld games stuck with me till grade 8 i think lol, so i recognise most of the sounds and music. All the sounds and themes bring back a tidal wave of memories. Normally ide give somthing like this a 2-3, but you sir get my 5 by default due to hilarity.
