You wake up in bed, as normal, but can't remember how you got there, you get up and check your journal, apparently you filled it in last night, but none of it feels familiar. Seemingly only one of few people not to have been taken by the mysterious happenings occuring all over your home town, you take it upon yourself to investigate and try to uncover what it is, that's manipulating the world as it is.

**Update** Cheers for the reviews so far people, very useful stuff, sorry to some but the get's a bit graphic heavy towards the end and may lag for some, to turn pages etc, you have to click on the object where it's placed again, I would of made it the page itself, or a button, but I suck at coding, any bugs listed will be looked into, cheers again :)
**Update 2** Front page, hahah no fucking way!!!!!!!, madness, Thanks alot guys, that's all the inspiration I need to get cracking on part 2! I've learnt tonnes from making this one, so my hopes are high that part 2 should be fun =)

the only thing i didnt like was the flash light running out every two seconds. other then that, great game look forward to seening more games from you
Great game, here are some suggestions.
During my playing (which was cut short, I admit. I was creeped out), I found that the flashlight suffered the same problem as in the new Doom game. that being that it covered like, 1/200th of the screen. My other problem would be just how quickly the flashlights charge drained and teh lack of an Off switch. If you tweak those a bit, this has the potential to be a great game. its got a good story and pretty good art.
nothing special
when i started the game i was expecting a good half an hour of story and puzzles and such (even though i saw it was only part 1)
what i got was some creepy sounds, took a car to a house, escaped something into a basement, shot some enemies,shot at a ghost girl, and got "to be continued".
a good 3 minutes..maybe. and you said this first part would explain the story, all i now is what you have wrote, wat the in-game journal said,and what the police officer said. thats it? i mean you allow the player to go to several locations that are useless.
its a great concept but beef it up a little, add more story, as well as some puzzles (like a true survival horror game). you said that you suck at coding then maybe you can contact another member on the site whos good at coding and turn this game into a collaborative effort, don't worry about the time it would take, time means nothing if the end product is of real quality.
Well...
Very short, and the story is not very original, also that Gun fight battle looks too much like the one you have in Exmortis, but its a pretty good starting game. Keep working on it.
