You wake up in bed, as normal, but can't remember how you got there, you get up and check your journal, apparently you filled it in last night, but none of it feels familiar. Seemingly only one of few people not to have been taken by the mysterious happenings occuring all over your home town, you take it upon yourself to investigate and try to uncover what it is, that's manipulating the world as it is.

**Update** Cheers for the reviews so far people, very useful stuff, sorry to some but the get's a bit graphic heavy towards the end and may lag for some, to turn pages etc, you have to click on the object where it's placed again, I would of made it the page itself, or a button, but I suck at coding, any bugs listed will be looked into, cheers again :)
**Update 2** Front page, hahah no fucking way!!!!!!!, madness, Thanks alot guys, that's all the inspiration I need to get cracking on part 2! I've learnt tonnes from making this one, so my hopes are high that part 2 should be fun =)

glad you liked it :) i've been working on the sequal the last few days:
Torch now lasts a lot fucking longer :p and will have options for a quick recharge, batteries etc.
Inventory will be added for proper puzzles and stuff
more weapons (hopefully) & improved combat
more enemies
more friends
more story
i've also got a karma system in mind which may come into it. Everything will be alot more interactive/ desrtucable

ok, after the game loads, I turn on the flashlight, and I see a bunch of papers on the table. after clicking them, what do I do so that the papers dont show anymore?! btw, there is no walkthrough on your website.

you have to click the journals on the desk again, to go to next page, then again to put them down, just dont move the mouse after picking up the papers so you dont have trouble finding the button again.
on my sit, click the top right icon that takes you to others, then the section is for walkthrus. Cheers for the score.

Anyway its a nice game. Kinda creeps me out as you go but overall its good.

Good game, only complaint is length
I know you've already addressed it, but it was a bit irritating that the game goes by so quickly. Other than that, I really liked the game, but I kept on thinking that it would be a bit more like a point-and-click adventure game, where you would be able to pick stuff up/use stuff. I also felt that the story had some gaps in it, like maybe there was something I was missing. Overall, though, it was a fun and engrossing story line. I hope to see the next installment soon
