This is the reason why I stopped playing Maple Story. You grind on one group of mobs, to get better stuff, to grind on the NEXT group of mobs. So freaking pointless....

I think MS will evolve into a better game with more content. What it could really use is a guild war system (two competing guilds make a bet "first to kill 10,000 slimes" and reap a reward) and/or a battle arena for head to head playing.

Ha, I used to play Maple Story!
That really hit home. Especially the screen completely filled with players, and Michea trying to sell slime gels. The end was pretty funny as well. The art was well done, nice job transitioning sprite to drawings.
I was a... the upgrade from Thief. Assassin? I can't remember anymore. I used daggers, and I don't think I ever saw another close range one the entire time I played...
