Yeah its awesome. The vivid colours and complex shapes aren't something you see a lot in flash. Probably for a reason, because I highly doubt if that type of imagery can be animated. Maybe some clever tweening could make it manageable.
Since this thread seems to have been revived I might as well showcase something too! This is a try-out for a new animation I'm working on. I'm focussing on the backgrounds at the moment because I plan to rotoscope the characters once my tablet arrives (any day now). It's also the first time ever I've used bitmap fills in an animation. I really like them so far, they give the entire thing a darker grittier feel.

I'm loving it too. Somehow the entire style feels kinda gta-ish. I like how you can see the materials clearly with the bitmaps

Looks really nice and can't wait to see it finished. Looks really nice and fluid....though it moved abit slow for me...not sure if it was planned that way or not.
The zooming is quite slow, so that might be it. There's going to be a pretty long dialog in that scene, so I'm not sure yet what I'll do with the camerawork to fill up that time. I think I'll have a few random characters moving about in the background, trying to keep things interesting.

That's a pretty neat art style there....You know...if the shirt was white, and had a disgusted scowl on the face, you'd look like the Angry Video Game Nerd guy. That was my first though when I saw the image. I don't mean that as an insult in any way, and not calling you a nerd :)

I drew that picture with a mouse too. Just takes practice to get used to drawing with a mouse.
