Another nice update gfox, now hold up on moving to double-listed for about another 1,000 more of my blams. Then once I'm on you can switch to double-listed the next update after that. ;)

Of course it will. It's just like getting used to a new level icon. I still feel weird with the flail. I'm looking forward to the hammer though.

I like my silver gauntlet okay. It's certainly better than the bronze one. But by the time I'm on the verge of the flail, I'll be around 9900 exp and I'll have had SOME form of non-gold gauntlet for nearly 2000 exp, so... I'll be very happy to be moving on to the flail, even if it's not the hammer, or either of the axes, or the best two icons yet to come for me (level 24 sword and level 25 golden gauntlet).

I did expect to lose a position on this update but not 3. They oblige me to b/p even faster but the problem is.. I can't. I already don't sleep enough. Then what am I going to do? Spam the BBS? Hell no. Review more often? Naaah! Do nothing special and hope for a better outcome next week? Sure. I'm still disappointed though.

You don't need to b/p faster or exp faster or review faster. Exactly, just keep on going like you're going, and all will be well. If you're not destined to have a +5 update next time, then you just aren't. It's not worth being upset over, man!

yea very nice update gfox. It definitely was called earlier that both MPA and myself would make it into the top 10 by this update. It will be quite a challenege to climb even higher within the top 10 though cuz these people seem to be quite the BP machines.

also.. i just hit 9,400 saves. Which means i'm only 600 saves away from being triplelisted. Triplelisted... just saying that word feels nice. heh Anyway, it should be interesting to see how much of a difference in terms of stat gains people will have from while they are in school/work and while it's summer time... but i work in the summer too. :P

1000 isn't insurmountable, but it all depends on activity levels. The only stat he owns you in is blams... but since you could actually catch his blamcount with yours... the exp difference is the real heart of his advantage. Still, you own him in teh posts and reviews. Careful not to let your save advantage lag... it's soooooo tight right now. (wink)

Not everyone in the top 10 is a CURRENT b/p machine, but yes... all of us were at one time or another. Still, fixit ain't moving... that's one easy person to pass, if you can get your pointtotal high enough to do so.

Congrats on the high savecount, and good luck with hitting teh 10k. That's the sweetest 10k amount IMO. One could make an argument for 10k reviews due to the RARITY of it and all, but 10k saves is pretty rare, too. #;-}>

I've noticed that TheJoe does not have 10k saves and it looks like he's not going for 10k saves. If he had 10K saves he would then be Quad listed and would only need 10k reviews to be pentalisted.... But i doubt he'd go for saves and reviews cuz he'd rather post.

Yes, we've all noticed that, man. I've long wished he would've waited to mostly-retire from b/page until after he hit 10k saves so we'd have another of us... but alas, he didn't. And as a result, yes, triplelisting is where he's destined to remain due to his only really active stats being... EXP... and... POSTS... ;_;

You'll definitely reach 10k posts and 10k experience points rather easily. You're main focus should be to boost up your Saves amount, but it's up to you. You'll most likely be the first PentaLister though.

History of the Quad/PentaList: This list began on November 27th, 2003 in an attempt to rank all Newgrounds users with experience, blam/protect, and/or post counts above 10,000. On January 6th, 2004 it expanded to include reviews despite no one being near 10,000 reviews as of that time. Finally, that QuadList format switched to the current PentaList format on August 8th, 2004: b/p was split into separate blam and save counts henceforth. Thus, a list of people with exp, blam, save, post, and/or review counts above 10,000 was solidified.

None of the 32 original bumped people have rejoined the list this time (meaning 15 are back overall and 17 remain off the list). There are, however, four new additions: welcome to Thobbe, Jen_the_Great, Cyberdevil, and JustinTheDevil. No clarifications necessary today as I didn't fudge anyone onto the list for a change. Less work = yay!

No new doublelistings to report, no new triplelistings either. This is getting to be an inactive period in the history of the pentalist, but things are looking bright for some doublelistings within the next few weeks, so hopefully that's about to change.
