MGS Collab and $100. 7 of 20

Today's $100 winner is john12346! We're giving away $100 per day from now until I leave for Comic-Con on July 20th. To participate in the raffle, all you need to do is vote on five submissions while logged in. Every day I run a raffle script based on activity from the previous day, and a winner is declared!

Stamper posted the Metal Gear Collab, Disc 01 yesterday! Over 50 artists, all in one submission! For anyone who didn't get involved due to lack of interest in the subject matter, we're hashing out some ideas for collabs that will revolve around original material - something that lets you flex your imagination a lot more and go nuts, while still maintaining a cohesive theme/story that holds it all together... There's one idea I'm excited about right now, so once we flesh it out some more maybe it will become the next "epic collab" project.

I gotta run so sorry today's post is kinda short. Aksumka asked me to plug the NG Archive, so I'll make that my last note of today! The NG Archive is a fun place that archives layouts and highlights from NG's past and present. Check it out!

Is this the same mystery project that excited MaetroRage down in the audio portal? He mentioned that you had something planned, and that was why the next Monthly Audio Contest isn't out yet, but he was reluctant to give details...

I can't wait to see Disk Two of the MGS Collab since I was more familiar with the first half's animations since I seemed to read their blog posts/ updates more than those in the second half coinsidently. I hope I'll be up to the requirements to join a collab by the time the next one comes out :P. As for ideas, NG seems very leaned towards mainstream media spoofs now a days so that is a path that would be best to continue on to get maximum participation (unless we get a super long song such as Dream Theater's Six Degrees Of Inner Turbulence, which is 42 minutes long, and make a music collab it'll probably be movies or games). Spore could be fun to spoof, or perhaps Diablo III for games and for movies we could do something like Spider-Man or just superhero movies in general. A more general theme could be Harry Potter, to get it at the high of its popularity. Just something to think about, in the end, it's nice to see the entire community of Newgrounds come together to work on a common goal.

Mindchamber's was indeed the best. But I did love all the other animations...Except for all the cock jokes all though, the art and animation did make up for it.
