I need to know, because I'm about to play it ( bought it for 5 bucks new at gamestop) , and I heard the suck factor was epic, but I generally disagree with most people on games.

I actually thought it was pretty good... much better than sonic and the secret rings and sonic rush.
Its not that bad. But most people say it MIGHT be the one where it started to all go downhill.

Honestly, I found it actually pretty fun. It's also the latest Sonic game I've played. The seperate stories were kind of cool. The gameplay was alright. I'd say this game is worth at least five bucks.
I usually frequent the VG and collaboration Forums. If you find me anywhere else, I'm lost and can't find my way back.

For 5 bucks, you got a deal.
It reverts back to the old sonic games with Zones, but instead of one character, u play as 3 at a time, which is be tedious at times. Team Chaotix's level are annoying since you aren't just going through each act. They're all mission based.
And the voices are one of it's lowpoints since you hear someone say something useless every 5-10 seconds. Besides that, it's alright and one of the better sonic games in my opinion.
I find it entertaining but the game is real repetitive since all teams practically go through the same thing.

The old voice actor was gettin too old to do the voice so they went with a voice close to his OVA counterpart, you get used to it...... kind of..........
The reason why Sonic Heroes is bad, because it sucks.

Meh, Sega could have done better. It's when Sonic went downhill. The game after Heroes sucked, but Heroes was a bit so and so. I didn't like the whole *you're a team of three so get the fuck over it* thing, I preffered it when you were alone or had tails following you while tails go killed.

I gotta get Adventure 2, I rented it back in the day and It was fucking sweet. Kinda pissed when I found out that Shadow survives when the game clearly states that he is dead in the ending.

You better be buying the Dreamcast version of Adventure 2, and not the Gamecube; The Dreamcast version is good, but the Gamecube version sucks balls. The controls go from alright on Dreamcast, to shit on Gamecube. The same, only to a worse extent, happens with the Gamecube version of Sonic Adventure 1.
Really, only get the Dreamcast "Sonic Adventure" games, and avoid the Gamecube like it's a disc that gives you AIDS.

The last game of Sonic I enjoyed was Adventure 2 Battle for PS2. Heroes was crap, and the rest just got worse. A lot worse. I'm not sure about the one for the Wii though, that was supposed to be okay.

For what platform did you get it?
The Gamecube version is the best because PS2 version has crappy framerate and other bugs and Xbox version has inferior controls.
