Well, Crash Bandicoot looks like it's going down the shitter sorry to say. I'm a huge fan of Crash Bandicoot and his games are really becoming more repetitive. Some great ideas here and there but they should really just let him go.

In league with Crash is Spyro the Dragon, ever since the original developers left to do Ratchet & Clank the games just look horrid.
Spyro was a fun PS1 Character. But now he needs to die, if I see him on 360 then I know it's overkill.
Guess the five albums and bands and you get a free cookie.

Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory online. I remember when there were about 40 people on Coop or Versus. I just checked the world servers about 10 minutes ago, one server. And 1 person is on Coop.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind seeing a really good Crash Bandicoot game out on the market, naughty dog should take back what's theres if they only translated there Jak and Daxter fame into Crash the game wouldn't be so horrid.

Well, Sonic is now the classic crash-and-burn franchise, due to, in typical Sonic fashion, the incredible speed at which it went from awesome to terrible.
Star Fox, Tomb Raider, and the PS1-era platformers are starting to show their age, though...

Mario and Halo won't fail as long as they don't fail. There is a difference between failing and retiring something. When a company moves onto new projects, that means they don't see anything more they can do with that character.
