audio portal wont except my song.

i used an mp3 converter to convert my wav to mp3, and the audio file says it is not.
my song is on myspace now, but i cant get it up here, anyone can help?

check the sample rate (should be 44.1 khz)
check the size
usually the portal have problems with Fl mp3's made directly because of the extra data that is saved together with the audio file

try using Audacity or Adobe Audition (ex Cool Edit )

fl mp3's probably just need to have the Audio Option sample rate changed.

Well this is a very common problem- it's probably a problem from NG's side actually. But try some other free audio converters- I'm pretty sure if you use another converter, uploading it will work.

nah ... with FL mp3's i have bigger problems... Windows Media Player don't play those, and that is not only on my computer
it says that those are not mp3

Have you tried messing with the Audio Options of FL?

Install the LAME codec, and they'll play.

i quited to make mp3 like this ...
i render waves and then i make it mp3with other programs dedicated for audio encoding
is better quality anyway (cause i render 24 bit wav and 96 khz) :p

i dont think its a flmp3 or whatever, ive posted up other songs, i dont wanna download anything, i recently had to reformat my pc because of downloading stuff like that.
too many viruses on the internet, you cant trust it.

i suppose i'll wait.

if anyone wants to hear it in the meantime, just pm me. im not trying to advertise, but whatever...
