In fact, throughout a significant amount of time all of my art was just stolen from somewhere like Deviantart, or just found through Google, and that included a couple of NG art contests.

Posting stolen art in an NG art contest is attempted theft because of the monetary value within these contests. its one thing to be a loser and post stolen art for attention, quite another if you attempt to make any type of revenue from it. if you are serious about drawing you can continue to practice but for now.. Don't bother submitting to our contests. you maybe willing to move on now, but as of yet, we are not
