Official iSketch Thread

Welcome to the Official iSketch Thread! In the past, there have been tons of iSketch threads, and even an official thread attempt (or two)... well this time we'd like to put a stop to the madness once and for all ;)

Here's how this (hopefully) will work. First, go to the LAST page of this thread and look at the dates of the most recent posts. If they were made not to long ago, search back until you find someone declaring they made a room, then you will need to visit iSketch. Search for the room called "NEWGROUNDS", or something close to it (NG, Newgrounds.com, NG ROOM). If found, join, and then play. If not found, you may create a new room and bump this thread stating the name of the room. Please try and keep your room name Newgrounds-related, this makes it easier for people to find. Preferably, you should simply call it NEWGROUNDS.

What this thread may be used for: Bumping to state that a room has been made, inviting others to come play; discussions about rounds is allowed as well.

In theory, we mean for this thread to be bumped and stay bumped as long as there's a decent crowd of NGers in the iSketch room, so that people just need to see this thread and assume that they can go and find a room. IMPORTANT: DO NOT JUST POST SOMETHING LIKE "BUMP" TO KEEP THIS THREAD AFLOAT, EVEN IF IT IS WARRANTED. YOUR POST STILL MUST FOLLOW BASIC POSTING GUIDELINES.

Discussion about "iSketch sucks", "iSketch admins suck", or basically anything not relating to the current rounds will not be tolerated. Such posts will be removed, and bans applied to repeat offenders as necessary. We want you guys to have fun, but while staying on subject.. things tend to snowball a little quickly around here ;)

You know, I was about to post "I think there was already an official iSketch thread (link)", before I realised it was a genuine attempt to start a useful thread, and that had actually been addressed. Good idea anyway. Better than countless "come on isketch lol" threads.

So, this is the thread I'll be redirecting to from here on in, I'll try to keep it functioning properly and all that jazz. There is no longer any reason to bump old "Let's go on iSketch!" topics or make them; so I'll likely just delete any new ones I see.

Oh and we forgot to mention a fun fact. During the formation of this thread, it was found that 77% or 104/135 topics with 'iSketch' in the title were essentially EXACTLY the same. A hundred and four. This in spite of some of the nobler attempts to control it. Hopefully it will remain at 104 topics from this point on.

iSketch topics have been being made since 2002 (which is when I assume it was created), and they still persist frequently enough today to warrant this thread.

Oh, and if people want to organize any tournaments with actual rules and serious players, they should contact a mod about it first, so it can given permission to exist independently of this thread (only of course if the idea is well-planned, etc. etc.).

Also, I love isketch.... but it often crashes my PC, whether on IE or on firefox. Any idea what could be going on and how I can fix it?

In order of estimated frequency:

- Complaining about iSketch, or the iSketch admins.
- Actual GOOD threads, such as the official C&C thread, AfroNinja's weekly iSketch organization, a "daily" iSketch organization, some longer "official" attempts.
- People making threads because iSketch went down.
- People asking what iSketch is.
- One or so threads comparing it to iScribble.
