Here's a picture one of my friends put up on facebook. Good shot of how much there is currently, and it keeps falling.
Lucky, I've never seen snow falling before, and the one time I was in snow, I loved it

It's cold, it's wet, it's unpractical. And when you live in a completely flat country - not entertaining in any way. (Except if you throw it at somebody)
haha was a while I had been in a snowball war!
hoi guys I have noticed that when I have a question I come here to the Lounge, is it better to create an own thread or its good to just ask here?
well I have had dificulties to get any attention to my threads so I guess that if i got a question, its not there i will get the answers, hehe...
I think i should just make a thread...

Well, if you are asking if it is good to make an art thread then yes. If you having diffculties getting any traffic through your thread then just wait, someone will answer any questions in your thread it just takes a little bit of time.

Its fine to ask questions in the lounge; I think your personal threads arent as much suffering from a lack of traffic as they are from a lack of comments. What I do when I read someones personal art thread, is just skim through it to see if he/she posted any new art (unless I really like that specific person) If thats the case I might comment if I think I have something usefull to say/feel like it. So yeah, posting questions in your thread would probably get you less replies than posting them here in the lounge.

What the Cube basically said - Art Threads are checked through on a regular basis, but it's more a case of scrolling through quickly simply to check on the art. Hell, more often then not the words in the thread aren't even read. Posting in a new thread or the Lounge would have to be the best idea to garner a response.
On a unrelated note. Has anybody seen the Johnny Cash Project yet? Or did someone even contribute to it? I just thought it may be interesting to some of you, so check it out. It's awesome!
Also happy belated birthday Fifty-50!
I find it annoying that my honest critique of a piece that was front paged is voted useless because it's critical instead of praise.

Happens all the time, man, don't beat yourself up over it. Believe it or not, people are not laughing over their chairs going "I just voted 'im useless, serves him right" it's just a few people who don't know what they're doing, doing that.

Yeah but it's so annoying, I wasn't saying it sucked, just saying that it was "good, but"

Interesting - you contribute with one frame and then other people can contribute with one frame also (in the same spot) and then people vote who did the best job?

That's how I understood it, too. Also you can still contribute and if your piece gets top rated it replaces that certain frame.
Holy schnickes, I got another snow day. We had like another foot of snow fall.
Picture compliments of that same friend I got the first one from.

So they've already canceled school for tomorrow too. This is just wild.
So basicly since you don't like birthday wishes then I decided to make you some b-day art. Happy birthday Ornery, you angry weirdo :)

I voted you 'helpful' and tried to get your back a little in my review.

Well, I'm buying him a DVD copy of Dream of Light.
I'm pretty sure he would be interested in it.
Happy B-Day, Ornery-Scotsman.
