Rock Band New Content Thread

Since it looks like Rock Band (the game) has been good on its promise of new content every week I thought I'd make this up to date thread on all the new songs that come out every Tuesday (Thursday if you're a PS3 owner).

All Rock Band songs are 440 Points ($5.50) for a pack or 160 Points ($1.99) for a single song (unless noted). Three Asterisks (***) will denote it's a cover song.

First, here's a list of everything that's come out already (for PS3 owners just push the release dates two days ahead).

November 20th.

That looks cool, but kinda sucks that you have to keep paying to get new songs, but guitar hero is probably the same. I don't have rock band but it sounds just like guitar hero but with other instruments and more songs.

They might have lost the masters. Thats what happened with the Sex Pistols, who had to rerecord Anarchy In The UK for GH3.

The Bark at the Moon cover in Guitar Hero 1 wasn't that bad at first... then it got worse every time I failed the song (it's the toughest song in the game).

But yeah, the Rush covers are just horrid as well. I think it has something to do with lost masters.

What's weird is with the David Bowie tracks is they get masters from the Ziggy Stardust album but the covers are from other albums like Hunky Dory and Heroes.

Also, Neversoft has seen that Rock Band is raping them in New Content. So they're releasing a three-pack of songs for GH3 that don't suck monkeyfuck.
(I'm unaware if these are masters or covers)

Yeah, but you have to pay for two Foreigner and Journey songs to get it. I wish Guitar Hero would adopt a system that lets you buy the whole pack or each song individually. Jukebox Hero and Any Way You Want It aren't terrible songs, but I can't see myself playing them often. If I'm going to lay down cash for over-priced downloads I wan't them to be songs I'll want to play over and over.

Yeah, that'd be nice. I've never used Guitar Hero/Rock Band download markets myself, but yeah, it's like when there's some game/film/CD you want but it's only available in some pack with other things you don't really want. And yeah, if I could, I can't imagine playing Foreigner or Journey that much.

Coincidentially, I first bought Boston's Greatest Hits with Foreigner's Best of compilation about a year and a bit ago. I've listened to Boston numerous times, but I've only listened to Foreigner once or twice!

Why Rock Band? Why must Rush be covers?

That cover singer cannot mimick Geddy Lee's voice at all.

Speaking of Rush songs in Guitar Hero or Rock Band, is The Spirit of Radio available in any of them? I think that'd be a pretty decent song to do in either game, and it's fairly familiar to most people. That beginning bit might be quite fun on guitar especially.

As you can see, I'm far too lazy to check Wikipedia or anything.
