Paladin: The Game Teaser! (video!!)

well, i did it!
i put together a little demo for you all of what the paladin gameplay is like.
i was originally going to make it only when the gameplay for the undead giant was playable to i could get some footage of that in, but instead i did something else.... you'll see

i really hope you like the trailer, and look foreward to the game's release as much as i do!

(PS, any lag seen in video was not lag of the game, but of camtasia recording me playing the game...)

the game isnt very original but the programming and drawing is ace

if it is actually based in the series it will be kinda original... meaning it will have a very good storyline (even though we'd already know it), nice skills and it's a 2D sidescroller RPG with a really good level of artwork, that's not something you see all days...

o ya i dont challenge the story line i mean the gameplay.. this visually looks alot like diablo 1 and its just hack and slash and i can see that there are spells but they dont really change the hacking and slashing. i dont know how he can make the game more unique but to me this game is common

As some other people picked up on the fighting looks a little dull, but with spells and using the Mana I assume their's gunna be some nice little moves you can pull off.

It def. looks pro. Got alot of sounds, nice graphics etc, should be kewel.

Which also reminds me, I should go and watch those cartoons of yours, i've not been bothered to sit through a whole one yet but i'm guessing they're alrite. :)

The first prize is 10 grand. I reckon with this game they can probably at least get third which is four grand. Plus weekly top 5 and a monthly top 5 perhaps which adds on 1 thousand each. Then maybe looking at best RPG game with an addition 500 dollars same perhaps for best graphics. They might even have an awesome menu another 500.

So realistically they could get anywhere between zero dollar and $13,500 and I'm gonna say this game is a good horse to back.

Also Jazza awesome work the movements look so fluent and in the end the tool bar ala Diablo is pretty fitting. I hope the coder gets some good recognition for this game to.

yeah i made the bar like that mainly coz i have grown being a big fan of diablo, also, i like that health system better then any other. its very thematic and all the info u need is in front of you

yeah, same here.

the graphics look amazing, the animation is really smooth (as always) the levels look awesome. it looks like theres a pretty wide variety of moves and stuff... thats always a plus, makes the gameplay les repetitive.

ill be 5'ing and favouriting it wen it comes out, if its half as good as the preview looks :D
