what do you think of my punching style i just made this as a test to see if i could animate punching and yes the people are crap because i didn't add detail because i was just using it for a test.
so what do you think of the way he is punching and can it be improved???

It depends on what you would be useing if for. If it was for some street fight or something I think it would have to be a little more forceful, I don't know if you were gana do tat or not. But if he was just going to shove him or something it would be perfect.

yeah it was just a test it only took about half an hour to make

Haha they are that's great. Yea I suggest you fix taht something else I noticed when he gets punched the person doesn't go back as if you really got punched instead in moves into it like her wants to be hit harder.

It sucked. I could do a lot better, and I'm a programmer. People arent made out of squares, they arent just black and white. It was terrible.
Try going FBF instead of tweens, and putting more detail into the characters.

lol, AAANYWAY back on topic instead of whoring my self, you need to move theyre whole body, not just their hands and upper body, when people get unch their whole body reacts to it, and when someone punching their body reacts to it, watch some fighting movies on ng, or watch some bruce lee on youtube lol.

Btw - I have nothing against Splurda, he hasnt done anything stupid (unlike yourself). He also seems like a decent animator (again, unlike you). But that also doesnt mean I'm scared of you becase you two are friends.

Sorry, the FBF looked so bad and solid that I thought it was a tween. And I dont know anything about flash? My BA is higher than you (more than 1.5 higher) I have more flashes than you, and I focus on actionscript rather than animation, and I doubt you could make anything like this (which I made).

Well, it was ok, but I think it would be cooler if it was more animated. Like there was more motion.
Just to back trig up going through it frame by frame it appears you just modified the same shape over and over again... very clearly not the fbf he was reffering to.
you need to put body weight into the punch his weight doesn't shift his shoulders don't rotate, its just his arm moving very unbelieveable... even if it is "just a test" learning the wrong things isn't helpful.
