Does anybody have an idea on how to remove dead pixels from a PLASMA TV screen? I was playing San Andreas for at least 3-4 hours and the map and my weapons and money etc in the top right got burnt into the screen..its nothing major that wrecks normal tv viewing but id like to get rid of it anyway.

I tried dragging my computer over but realized i cant plug it in, so thats out of it.

And i tried google.

Anybody got any ideas, tips or info?

I think you mean burn in, and most plasma tv's have a function that helps reduce this. It is fixable, but I don't know how from here. My recommendation is to just look in the menu for anything that may relate to this.

Well the only other thing that I found, would involve hooking your computer up to the tv, but since you can't do that. I really don't know what else you could do. I'm sure you found what I found so yea, sorry I can't be more helpful.

there is no way to fix a image that is burned into the screen.
thats why it's called burn in.

the only thing to do is turn your tv off for several hours, then turn it on and repeat. till it fades, but once a image is fully burned it's there for every.

or you can try flashing high frame rate images on the screen till new burns are burned in around the old. (not worth the trouble)

"JScreenFix can eliminate image persistence on LCD screens and reduce burn-in on plasma screens."

And their video page has images that you can burn to a DVD to help reduce burn-in as well.
