Hey heres some sigs i made for members from another forum, they seemed to like them, tell me what you think, tw this was not a flash based forum, hence the lack of animation.. these where made on the program paint.net, i reccomend getting it if you cannot get hold of photoshop.. anyways.. rate or hate my sigs!!!

Hah, pretty cool man. The one with the turtle was pretty random, i laughed. I really like the one with venom i thought that was pretty sick font there. Nice pic of Vida Guerra in the last one, i have a poster of her.

Not bad, but they are all about the same...

Each one has a simple Photoshop background, your name written in some downloaded font and a render stuck on top? Like max of 10 minutes work for each...

And for gods sake don't use [IMG] tags..

Right, think alot of worked needs to be done to them matey!

First off, the BACKGROUND. It needs to have depth and contrast to catch the eye. Some of your sigs seem to be bland and dull. I know you don't have Photoshop, so maybe its not as easy to work on using the program you use.Not sure if you are able to add OR change contrast, but have a look. Get to know the program.

Next is the TEXT. Text needs to be different and something that goes well with the sig. Your sigs seem to just have some random text thrown onto the sigs. Think about the placement and experiment with colours. Some of the best FONTS I thought looked the best in my signatures tend to be those STANDARD fonts such as 'Arial' and 'Century Gothic'.

After that the RENDER. People want to see the render have so much link with the background. Its no good just copying and pasting a render straight onto a background that has all sorts of colours, it just won't work. You will probably need to think about what the render is and think about where this character/other render may fit in. Think back to the background again and make sure it is able to connect with the render you have chosen.

Finally have FUN and EXPERIMENT. Don't just put a 5 minute sig together, its a form of art and takes time. Try new things out and just keep adding things to it, you never know you may learn something new or find that you like the signature.
