Free hosting for Flash authors

Hey everyone,

Just letting you all know that Undercover Studios is now offering free hosting to Flash coders and artists who are looking for a much more efficient place to store and test their files online.
We are looking to help artists get off the ground who perhaps can't afford hosting just yet and don't want to have to deal with the hassle and bandwidth issues of sites like Putfile.

To see if you're eligible for the free hosting simply fill out the quick form, here.

Hosting is limited so not everyone will be successful (hence the form) but as time goes on, we will try and accommodate more and more artists. If you are successful you will have access to your own FTP account and hosting area to upload any work you wish.

It doesn't hurt to have an alternative.

And seeing as this one appears to have a different method of going about it, it's all good.

Not to mention this will provide a dedicated address as opposed to a dynamically generated one for each piece of content.

Some people haven't been accepted purely because they aren't attaching working links. Remember, if you're linking something or providing an email double check that they're correct. I've had a few links to artist's works that are broken links.

the dynamically created URLS are on purpose. Denvish can't keep up with every single submission, and he certainly doesn't have time to sort through them all. I think denvish is great, and once you get a few hundred apps at the same time, you're gonna lose it. Automated is the future! :P

Something along those lines is being worked on. Keep an eye out for it.

So if I built in my site in DreamWeaver, I could upload it to this hosting, and host my site like that? Im just returning to flash so im not that good atm, but im good at building sites so it could be useful.

You could build sites, host your art, upload your animations. It's 1GB of hosting that is there purely to help artists/animators/developers get a start without having to use some ad ridden, tiny bandwidth free host.
