They were real space pirates, they kept them frozen just like Ridley so they cause any problems.

The Power Suit was made by the Chozo, so if Samus wanted another Power Suit, then she would have to find them. Maybe the Chozo will appear in the next game?

Yeah, maybe you start off with the Fusion Suit, and then you get the Power Suit and so on.

Actually, in Metroid Prime there is a Chozo entry that said that the Chozo's statues will protect their artifacts or something, so the mini-bosses are just statues.

Well I've said this many times already, but they are making a movie with real people in it.
BTW in my Nintendo Power magazine they had a Metroid Prime comic in three of the issues. Maybe the begginning of an anime?
