Everyone I know that uses SK8, from my experience is a poser, which is why i said usually... And its usuallythe people that say they can skate better than other people that say SK8... Also, from my time here, i've come to learn that most people don't ever post footage, then only people that i've gotten or seen footage of have been from the Skate Flash Club...

its easy man. all it is is a pop shovit kickflip. a long time ago i use to have troble landing it too. but here's what i found out. if you put your front foot more back, towards the back trucks. this makes it alot easier for the board to spin. its really easy once you practice.

Hit the tail as you would for a pop shove-it, and as the board starts to snap up, flick your front foot just like a kickflip. That action will cause the board to flip while the shove-it action from your back foot will make the board turn 180 degrees below you. Don't flick the flip too hard or it will flip away from you move your feet out of the way as the board does its thing below you. Let the board smack you in the feet as you catch it at the height of the trick. Use your feet and hips to guide the board back straight as you drop back down.

anyways i dont know if its been discussed before, but have any of you thought about creating a virtual online skatepark. where people can go and chat, play a game of SKATE or something like that. just an idea seeing as there really arent any good skating games one the internet

I used to be able to land a hardflip when I was younger.
Now I'm just an old fart.
I'm 23 years old and I've been on and off skating for a while now.
Back in my High School years, I could hardflip as easily as I could kickflip.

I prefer sticking to basics, though.
Why?
Because I'm a Big-Style skater, I'm not too into the whole technical thing, although it is beautiful to watch.
I prefer gaps, launches, etc.
So the best tricks when you're going "big", are basics.

Is it just that modern day skaters try and use the technical terms for this trick (and others) to make it seem like they're better?
Or is it that the terminology has changed through time, 'cause back in the day, we used to just call that trick a 180 flip.
Simple and Clean, that's all I wanted to say.
I'm not ragging on anyone, I'm just curious, 'cause as I've stated before, I'm a skater, but I live in a country that's nearly Third World, so we're behind on things like technology, style (Fashion or Music), and terminology.
