Yeah. So does anyone know exactly how many Calvin and Hobbes comics Bill Waterson made before he stopped?

No, but he wrote one almost every day between I think '85 and '95, so do the math.

That's doing something more times than I will ever do anything, so we'll leave it at that. And props to him for having that many awesome fuckin ideas.

You truly are the king of halfassedness. It would be around 3,650

Yes. but, with leap years, and the amount of time that he probably spent on vacation, it's probably nowhere near that number. And because I knew that, I didn't even try to guess.
Well, actually, if he knew he was going on vacation, he'd usually pre-write the strips.

Irregardless, he wrote a crapload of comic strips, and we can leave it at that without having to know the exact amount.
I hate math anyway. I'm sick of reading a bunch of stories involving Calvin and depicting him a sa child who is mentally unstable and insane. He's a 6yr old with an overactive imagination. Get over it.

That sounded like a rant. Who are you talking to?
Anyone who would listen. That Robot Chicken episode angered me so much!! I don't have time to do a full explanation, I will after school.

Alright. But I don't watch that show, just because it's soooo stupid. But how can you watch that show and be offended by it? You should know beforehand that there's likely something to happen that will be offensive.
Thats the one with the tiger, right? Always made me chuckle.
MrPercie on Dromedary: "smug santa claus face, bringing nicieties to those he likes but shite to those he hates - which is everyone"
Hehe, I can't believe you got this up and running again Derek.. I'm still Head Tiger though, so welcome everyone! :D

When I first saw it, I didn't know what Robot Chicken was. Now I love the show, but I will never watch that episode ever again. Someone should try drawing Calvin and post it here!

Haha, my drawing skills are so below par you wouldn't be know what I was drawing if it said at the top.
But Lotus, I think I should get some credit for helping this club as well. It takes two to keep a club up and running.
Well, up and running well. =P
I don't have Fireworks on this computer, so tomorrow at school during Graphics Design class, I'm going to make a C and H signature.

C and H being Calvin and Hobbes, or Cyanide and happiness?

Yeah, I was joking, I just found it funny that they're both great comic strips with the initials C&H.
Well of course. I think Monday at school I will be drawing a Calvin and Hobbes pic using one of our Wacom tablets.

YAY Zombie Calvin and Hobbes club returns!!
Let's do some fan art. Someone take an old comic strip, remove the text, and make your own funny version!!

Sounds awesome. If I actually had the initiative to do that, I totally would. Instead, I'll just let you guys do the work and let me laugh about it.

I might actually attempt to do it if I ever stop being lazy.

So I was thinking. How did the Calvin and Hobbes Sunday comics fit in the newspaper? I mean, at least nowadays, there is only a small amount of space even for the Sunday comics. So were writers given more space back then, or what?

Yeah. Sunday comics used to take up about half a page each, so they had a lot of space to work with.
Hey, I just discovered this!!!!!! I might have to actually try doing this for myself now.

Eh, I think Calvin and Hobbes is better off staying on a comic strip. That just didn't work for me. I think what would be better would be taking strips that have already been made and replacing the words or something.
